Anna Bailey

Anna is an interdisciplinary writer and researcher, with a background in academic history and material culture studies. In September 2026 she began her PhD at the Royal College of Art, where her doctoral research explores the socio-ecological heritage of historic mining landscapes. Her writing has appeared in Ambient Receiver, Seedlings IV: Winter, and on the Design History Society blog.

 

Anna read History at the University of Oxford. In 2023 she graduated with Distinction from the V&A/RCA History of Design MA, where she was awarded the Gillian Naylor Essay Prize for outstanding object-led research.
